Veterinary Grade Bloodroot Paste (2oz)
Veterinary Grade Bloodroot Paste (2oz)
Really Impressive
My mare had a sarcoid or warty lump come up on her side that had grown to about the size of a dime. After applying once a day for 1 week it was totally gone. It's kind of pricey but it works.

Our Original Bloodroot Paste formula.
Veterinary Grade Bloodroot Paste is a non-invasive method of treating sarcoidosis (sarcoids). It stimulates immune system response in equine animals (horses, ponies, donkeys, zebras) in order to attack the sarcoids, tumors and growths. It can be effective in fighting the same issues found in large mammalian livestock, including: some bovine species and large canines (dogs).
Active ingredients:
Bloodroot
Galangal root
Chaparral leaf
Graviola leaf/stem
DMSO
Zinc Chloride
Why these ingredients?
We select premium ingredients that operate in harmony and offer special properties. These ingredients have been used for centuries by original peoples with proven results. Some examples of the many qualities include:
Bloodroot contains important alkaloids that fight against harmful cells; Chaparral leaf contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatories (via nordihydroguaiaretic acid – NDGA), polyphenols (lignans) as well as blood purifying qualities; Graviola is a potent antioxidant (hosting natural chemicals known as acetogenins); DMSO is an immune stimulant and helps to heal wounds; and Zinc is vital in proper immune system function and cell division (for growth and healing).

Common Sarcoid Locations
Sarcoids can appear anywhere on the body. They commonly appear in the following areas: the chest and abdomen (belly), the sheath and groin, on the face (specifically around the eyes and mouth) and the limbs. They often appear in the axillae regions (the areas of the body where the legs meet the torso), the thighs and fetlock. Sarcoidosis can become problematic in the sites of previous wounds and injuries, or in areas that are healing from "proud flesh."
The areas mentioned are depicted below.

How To Use
PROTOCOL OF USE GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR BETTER RESULTS
Please read carefully and follow the general guidelines found below.
Careful observation and documentation will lead to achieving optimal results. Adjusting your treatment protocol to suit your animal’s condition is recommended.
Precautions
Veterinary Grade Bloodroot Paste is for topical use only. Apply to the afflicted area only. Never apply close to the eyes or inside of the ears of your animal. Keep away from children and very small animals.
Wash hands thoroughly after each application. Wearing disposable latex or nitrile gloves when handling this product and during application is strongly recommended.
Treatment protocol will vary depending on your animal’s circumstance. Multiple applications and resting phases may be required. Treatment results are best conducted when the weather (temperature) is cooler (i.e.: autumn, winter, early spring).
Steps
- Gently clean the sarcoid prior to applying the paste. If the growth has hardened significantly, lightly exfoliate the growth with a nail file. This will allow for better absorption.
- Apply a generous amount of paste, 1-2 times daily.
- Continue applying for several days, up to a maximum 12 days. A reaction in the growth should be visible (color change, inflammation, etc.).
- Stop (rest) treatment for a period of 7-10 days.
- Watch for “sloughing” of the afflicted flesh/skin (this is to be expected).
- Repeat the process if necessary.
- Adjust treatment as per the growth’s reaction.
*Consult your licensed veterinarian or animal caregiver prior and during use of this product.
